NJDSAF’s annual training will be held on Thursday February 7, 2019 at the Rutgers EcoComplex in Bordentown, NJ. An agenda and mail-in registration can be found here: https://njforests.org/2019-annual-training/ Online registration can be found here: http://njforests.eventbrite.com
The Division’s program committee did an excellent job to put together a compelling agenda full of engaging speakers on three of the most important topics facing foresters today. We have speakers from both the NJ Department of Agriculture and Penn State Extension speaking on spotted lanternfly and what it means for urban and rural forests. Representatives from the DEP Forest Service will be speaking and taking questions regarding lessons learned from the first year of the NJ Forest Stewardship Program. Lastly, various speakers will be talking about adaptive forest management given multiple objectives and a changing climate.
February 7 is just around the corner. Register today! But, definitely register before February 1 to avoid the late fee.
